This was originally a memorial to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers who fought in the South African War (Boar War). It has been impossible to obtain a precise date for the engraving of the Great War inscription. The original inscription has become so badly eroded that most of it is impossible to read. A new plaque had been added recently. The inscription on the new plaque is:- |
